The white oak tree grows in some parts of North America and is a tree well known for its enormous size and longevity. Oak bark has many medicinal benefits such as; high in vitamin B12, iron, tannin and potassium. It can be used to treat diarrhoea, cold or flu, is an antiseptic, astringent and anti-inflammatory. It is also widely used to make decoctions for teas, infusions, tonics and skin care. Has a woody taste with a fresh scent.

To burn as incense, place a charcoal block onto a heatproof surface and light. When lit, place a small quantity of incense onto the block and allow the aromatic scent to pervade the room, adding more if required according to personal preference.
